In the Bible, God and Jesus constantly taught lessons using parable..."Godly lessons in human concepts". The Bible says god created the earth in seven days and science teaches us about the Big Bang and the eons it took for the earth as we know it to form. How long is a day for a omniscient, omnipotent being? We couldn't even begin to grasp the concept, so why do we continue to think the Bible is literal?
