The weird thing about this is that they aren't talking about banning the /concept/, just the word. Bizarre.

By banning the word, they hope to ban the concept as an ends to the means. I just think it's a waste of time, and a cheap ploy by some people to get media attention.

Political Correctness taken to ludicrous extremes by people who have nothing better to do that sit around on their useless butts thinking this rubbish up. It's a shame they can't put all this spare time to something useful.

I agree horai, for example, actually fixing the school system, which is absolutely horrible in many areas. For example, the grading system, teacher's low pay, the stupid "zero tolerance" policy, and so on.

I do think science and religion can coexist. In the Bible, God and Jesus constantly taught lessons using parable..."Godly lessons in human concepts".

The Bible says god created the earth in seven days and science teaches us about the Big Bang and the eons it took for the earth as we know it to form. How long is a day for a omniscient, omnipotent being? We couldn't even begin to grasp the concept, so why do we continue to think the Bible is literal?

Science says man evlolved from a single cell organism into monkeys and then man. Why can't that be the way God made us? I don't believe the literal sense of god making man from dust, but if you think about it, science says the same thing...we started from almost nothing and eventually became what we are today...

Once gain, the human mind can't begin to grasp the ide of time for God, who has no "time"
