Early Christmas Gifts

December 22nd, 2005

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, so I figure I’d give an update. I’ve received a number of Christmas gifts early this year for some reason, and thought I’d outline what I got. The theme this year is personal comfort, which I have ignored pretty much all my life, but it seems I’m at the age now where it is needed and appreciated.

  • New soccer ball - so I can exercise and have fun outside.
  • A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin - A book that got a lot of hype from high fantasy nuts.
  • Massage pillow - very comfy!
  • Suede slippers - also very comfy!
  • New fluffy pillow - super comfy!
  • FM Transmitter for iPod Mini - for listening to iPod tunes in the car.
  • Make Your Own Hot Sauce Kit - Muahahaha! U.S. government will see some radioactive waste showing up on the radar soon.
  • Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard - very comfy, but taking me a while to get used to.
  • One Dish Meal cookbook - for when I’m in a hurry but still want gourmet tasting food.
  • Reindeer poop candy - yum!
  • Peet’s 6-month coffee of the month club - for that waking-up-spoiled-in-the-morning feeling.
  • New Panasonic DVD player - it plays just about every format, including divx/xvid files.

Spooky, Matt. That’s the exact model DVD player that I bought for my daughter for Christmas.

Great minds, and all that. ;)
