Instead of taking Buddy to a professional dog groomer, I decided to save money and do it myself. How did I do? Well, while on a walk with him today, a neighbor saw him and said, “Oh my God! How did you convince a blind man to go at your dog with a weed whacker!?”

I have to admit … I felt quite proud that I fooled the neighbor into thinking a blind man with a weed whacker did the job. Haha! He had no clue I did it!

When I was a little kid, I won a goldfish as a prize from some game at the fair. I brought it home and found a fishbowl to put it in. Unfortunately, I had to clean the fishbowl every week because it would get dirty and nasty.

Then I had the brilliant idea of getting the chlorine from the pool supplies in the shed and using it in the fishbowl water so I didn’t have to constantly clean the stupid fishbowl. When I put the goldfish in the fishbowl with clean water and chlorine in it, 30 minutes later the goldfish died.

I learned a very valuable lesson that day. That goldfish prefer dirty and nasty fishbowls over nice and clean ones.

Well, that was a nice surprise. I got an upgrade to my video card to the newer 1060 6GB. The EVGA GeForce 970 4GB GPU that I had to RMA a month ago was replaced with a different 970 two weeks later, but it was a dud. It kept BSOD’ing any time I started up a game. I had to do a second RMA and send them back the card, and now two weeks later I get a brand-new, shrink-wrapped 1060 for my pains and annoyance.

Now I will finally be able to play Crysis in HD!

I got one of those new fitness tracker thing, but I had to return it for a refund. Apparently the GPS tracker in them aren’t sophisticated enough to track the distance I travel from my room, to the refrigerator, and back again. What’s the point to these stupid things, then?
